If you want your brush to last the distance, make sure you know how to look after it. Here I’ve included a few care instructions for your baby hair brush. Mostly, you won’t have to do anything to maintain it – just use and store it. Your baby’s brush shouldn’t become dirty just using it for your baby’s hair, but let’s face it – anything can happen when there’s a baby and/or a toddler around!

Looking after your brush

The maple wood handle is splash proof and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. If you find the bristles become dusty, you can run your clean fingertips through them and tap the bristles on your hand to loosen any residue.

A soft damp face cloth can be used on the bristles to freshen them up. Make sure you always dry the brush with the bristles facing down so moisture doesn’t seep into the wooden handle.

Your natural brush doesn’t like lots of water!

Your BerryBest Baby™ natural baby hairbrush isn’t designed to be under running water or to be immersed in water. Water damage may ruin the timber handle, and as a result the bristles may fall out.

I normally brush my baby’s hair after it’s been towel dried, so still slightly damp. This shouldn’t affect your brush at all. If you like to brush your baby’s hair wet, just make sure you store it bristles down so they can dry without any moisture seeping into the wooden handle.
